WHEN YOUR MIND WILL NOT LEAVE IT ALONE

You may not need to rebuild everything.

You may need help with this one thing.

Perhaps a decision is waiting to be made.

A conversation needs to happen.

Something has ended and you are unsure what it means for what comes next.

Or one experience has unsettled you more than you expected it to.

You think about it while driving, while working and when you should be sleeping.

You reach a conclusion, question it and begin the whole process again.

You may recognise yourself here:

  • You keep moving backwards and forwards between the same options.
  • You have asked several people what they think but still do not know what feels right for you.
  • You are rehearsing a difficult conversation without having it.
  • You know something needs to change but cannot identify the first step.
  • You are trying to understand why a recent event has affected your confidence so deeply.
  • You are capable in most areas of your life but feel unusually stuck around this one.
  • You are tired of giving the same question the same exhausted answers.

That does not mean you are incapable of making a good decision.

It may simply mean that you have been trying to find clarity from inside the same thoughts that created the confusion.

Sometimes you need a different kind of conversation.

WHEN UNCERTAINTY STARTS SPREADING

One unresolved issue rarely stays neatly in one part of your life.

It can follow you into your evenings.

It can make it harder to focus on work, be present with other people or properly switch off.

You postpone the decision because you are waiting to feel completely certain.

You avoid the conversation because you want to find exactly the right words.

You ask for reassurance because trusting somebody else’s answer feels safer than trusting your own.

None of this means you are weak.

But continuing to circle the issue can slowly drain the confidence you need to address it.

The Reset creates a deliberate pause.

Not to avoid what is happening.

To finally look at it properly.

FOCUSED SUPPORT

A conversation with enough time to get beneath the first answer.

The Reset is a private two-hour online coaching session centred on one main issue, decision or situation.

Two hours gives us room to slow down. You do not have to squeeze everything into a short appointment or arrive with a perfectly polished explanation.

We can explore what has happened, what you are assuming, what you are afraid of and what genuinely matters to you now.

I will listen carefully and ask questions that help you see the situation from different angles. Where a perspective, observation or practical approach may be useful, I will share it.

I will not tell you how to live your life.

Borrowing somebody else’s certainty might bring temporary relief. It rarely helps you trust your own judgement again.

The purpose of the Reset is not to replace your answer with mine. It is to help you find a clearer answer of your own.

THE SESSION

Focused, but never rushed.

Every Reset will be shaped around the person and situation in front of me. There is no rigid script, but our conversation will usually move through five stages.

1

Begin where you are

You tell me what has brought you to the session. As much or as little as you feel ready to share. You do not need the perfect words and you do not need to know exactly what you want yet.

2

Slow the issue down

We separate what has happened from the thoughts, fears and assumptions that have gathered around it. Something that feels like one impossible knot often becomes more manageable when we can see its individual strands.

3

Understand what is influencing you

We explore the expectations, old conclusions and outside opinions that may be affecting how you see the situation. We also pay attention to what you genuinely want, rather than only what you believe you should want.

4

Identify what matters now

We look for the decision, conversation, boundary or realisation at the centre of the issue. This is often where something that has felt complicated begins to make more sense.

5

Create a practical way forward

Insight needs somewhere to go. Before we finish, we identify a next step that is clear, realistic and genuinely yours. That may be a decision. It may be a conversation you are ready to have. It may be something you need to stop doing. Or it may be one manageable action that lets you gather new evidence that you can trust yourself.

What about hypnotherapy?

Coaching remains at the centre of the Reset.

Where it may genuinely support calm or focus and only with your agreement, I can also draw on clinical hypnotherapy as an optional part of the session.

You remain aware and in control throughout.

You can choose not to use hypnotherapy at all. Many people do.

WHAT MAY CHANGE

You may not leave with your entire future solved.

You may leave knowing what needs to happen next.

Depending on the issue you bring, the Reset may help you leave with:

  • A clearer understanding of what has been keeping you stuck
  • A decision or more clearly defined direction
  • Greater calm around a situation that has been consuming your attention
  • A new perspective on what happened and what it means
  • The words or structure for a difficult conversation
  • A boundary you are ready to set
  • One or more practical next steps
  • Less need to keep asking other people what they think
  • Greater trust in your ability to handle what comes next

No responsible coach can guarantee exactly what somebody will experience in a session.

What I can promise is that I will listen carefully, challenge respectfully and help you turn reflection into something practical.

IS THIS THE RIGHT LEVEL OF SUPPORT?

The Reset may suit you if one issue needs your full attention.

You might bring something such as:

A difficult decision

You are weighing up two directions and can make a convincing argument for and against both.

A confidence knock

Rejection, criticism, redundancy or another setback has left you questioning yourself more than usual.

A relationship ending

You are trying to make sense of what happened and decide how you want to move forward.

A conversation you keep postponing

You need to say something, ask for something or establish a boundary but cannot find a way to begin.

A work or career choice

You know your current situation cannot continue but are unsure which alternative is right for you.

A situation you cannot stop replaying

Your mind keeps returning to what happened, what you should have done or what somebody else may be thinking.

A loss of direction

You do not necessarily need a complete long-term plan. You need to know what your next honest step is.

You do not have to prove that your issue is serious enough.

The more useful question is whether focused time and support would help you think about it differently.

AN HONEST ASSESSMENT

Sometimes one session is the right amount of support.

Sometimes it is not.

The Reset is designed for one reasonably contained issue, decision or situation.

The six-session Rebuild may be more appropriate when:

  • Several areas of your life or confidence are connected
  • Your self-trust has been affected for a long time
  • You repeatedly encounter the same doubts or patterns
  • You want time to practise new responses between sessions
  • You need support creating and sustaining wider change
  • You have never felt securely confident and want to develop that foundation

The Reset is also not a substitute for medical care, therapy, psychiatric support, crisis help, legal advice or financial advice.

If I believe another form of support would serve you better, I will tell you. Helping does not always mean becoming someone’s coach.

TWO HOURS · £197

Focused time for the issue that keeps following you around.

You are not paying for two hours of generic motivation or somebody telling you to think positively.

You are paying for private, focused space with an experienced coach who will listen closely, notice what may be sitting beneath your first answer and help you turn reflection into action.

The extended format gives us time to understand the issue without rushing towards the first obvious solution. It creates room to explore what you genuinely want and finish with something practical rather than ending just as the important part of the conversation begins.

You probably have enough information already. The value lies in creating better conditions in which you can think, decide and begin moving again.

The Reset — £197

  • One private, uninterrupted two-hour online session
  • Focused on one main issue, decision or situation
  • No questionnaire or preparation required
  • Coaching shaped around your individual starting point
  • Optional clinical hypnotherapy where appropriate and agreed
  • A practical focus on what happens next

The Reset does not include a written report, recording or formal follow-up session.

Its purpose is to give you enough focused time to understand the issue more clearly and decide what you want to do next.

No payment is taken during the call. You only pay if you decide to book your Reset.

YOUR COACH

Hello, I’m Mark.

I have spent more than 20 years coaching and developing people through change, challenge and uncertainty.

I hold an ILM Level 5 qualification in Coaching and Mentoring and I am a qualified advanced clinical hypnotherapist.

I am fully insured and work confidentially online with people in the UK and around the world.

My approach is calm, thoughtful and practical.

I will ask questions, offer honest reflection and challenge something gently when I believe it may help.

But I will not prescribe your life.

My role is not to make you dependent on my judgement. It is to help you hear and trust more of your own.

I also understand personally what it is like to begin again after redundancy and the end of a relationship.

You can read more about those experiences and how they shaped my approach on my About page.

WHAT CLIENTS SAY

“Mark helped me to identify some deep-seated habitual ways of thinking that were impacting on my working life (and beyond), that had become second nature. I was able to understand why they came about, and use practical strategies to create change, without it feeling overwhelming.”

Coaching client

“It was just so lovely to talk to a friendly, respectful, non-judgmental and kind person who felt like an advocate, but also helped me to become my own advocate.”

GOOD QUESTIONS

Things you may want to know before booking

Is one session really enough and what can we cover?

The Reset can create meaningful clarity around one reasonably contained issue, decision or situation.

That does not mean every aspect of the situation will be completely resolved in two hours. The aim is to understand what is keeping you stuck, identify what matters and leave with a practical way forward.

Other subjects may naturally appear during the conversation but we will keep returning to the main reason you booked. The aim is depth and usefulness, not trying to cover your entire life.

When the issue is deeper, more established or connected to several areas of life, Rebuild may be more appropriate.

What if I do not know exactly what I need or how to prepare?

That is completely fine.

There is no questionnaire or formal preparation and you do not need to arrive with a perfectly organised account of what has happened.

“I just know I cannot keep going around in circles” is a perfectly valid starting point.

We can begin with whatever feels most important when we meet and the free Clarity Call gives us an opportunity to decide whether Reset is the right fit.

Will you tell me what to do?

No.

I may share an observation, perspective or practical approach when I believe it could help.

But I will not prescribe your decision. The aim is to strengthen your judgement rather than replace it with mine.

Is hypnotherapy part of the Reset, and will I stay in control if we use it?

It can be used as an optional part of the session where it is relevant and you would like to use it. Coaching remains at the centre of the Reset, and you are always free to decline hypnotherapy — many clients choose coaching alone.

If we do use it, you remain in control throughout. Clinical hypnotherapy involves a relaxed and focused state, not the stage-show version of hypnosis — you remain aware, hear what is happening and can stop at any point.

Is the Reset therapy?

No.

Coaching focuses on where you are now, where you would like to be and what may help you move forward.

The Reset is not a replacement for therapy, medical care or specialist mental-health support.

If I believe another form of support is more appropriate, I will be honest with you.

Is everything confidential?

Yes, within the standard professional and legal limits that I will explain clearly before we begin.

The Reset is a private space in which you can think out loud.

Where does the session take place, and is it one continuous session?

Online through Zoom, as one uninterrupted two-hour appointment with space for a short comfort break if needed. The extended format gives us time to understand the issue properly without rushing towards the first obvious answer.

You can attend from anywhere in the UK or elsewhere in the world, provided you have a private space and a reliable internet connection.

What happens after the Reset?

There is no formal follow-up package, written report or ongoing contact included in the £197 fee.

Before the session ends, we will identify the conclusions, decisions or practical next steps that feel most useful to you.

There is no requirement to book further coaching and I will not pressure you to do so.

How do I know whether I need Reset or Rebuild, and can I move into Rebuild afterwards?

Reset is usually best when one pressing issue needs focused attention. Rebuild provides more time when confidence or self-trust have been affected more deeply, across several areas or over a longer period. You do not need to diagnose this for yourself — we can discuss it during the free Clarity Call.

Yes, you can move into Rebuild afterwards. If you decide that further coaching would be helpful, we can discuss whether Rebuild is the right next step. There is no obligation to continue.

How much does the Reset cost, and how do I book and pay?

The Reset costs £197 for a private two-hour online session.

Booking begins with a free 20-minute Clarity Call, which gives us an opportunity to discuss what is happening and decide whether the Reset is the right form of support. If we agree to proceed, we will arrange your Reset appointment and agree the payment arrangements clearly — the £197 fee is payable when you book the session.

What happens during the Clarity Call?

We talk for around 20 minutes by phone or Zoom.

You can tell me what is happening and where you would like things to be.

I will ask a few questions, explain how I would approach the situation and help you decide whether Reset, Rebuild or another form of support makes most sense.

There is no script, pressure or hard sell.

What happens if I need to change my appointment?

You can reschedule your Reset without charge by giving at least 48 hours’ notice.

Where less than 48 hours’ notice is provided, the full session fee is non-refundable.

The full fee is also non-refundable if you miss the appointment.

What if you do not think coaching is right for me?

I will tell you.

Where possible, I will also help you identify a more appropriate form of support.

Helping does not always mean becoming someone’s coach.

A SIMPLE FIRST STEP

You do not need to solve your whole future today.

You only need somewhere honest to begin with what is in front of you.

If one issue is taking up more space than it should, we can slow it down together.

We can look at what has happened, what is influencing you and what needs to happen next.

The first step is a free 20-minute Clarity Call.

You can tell me what is going on, ask anything you need to ask and decide whether the Reset feels right for you.

No pressure.

No hard sell.

Just an honest conversation about what may help.
